Learning Coordinator

As our learning coordinator, you’ll be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering educational programs that support our community's professional development. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining our library of learning resources and managing relationships with our alumni.


The ideal candidate will have an interest in community building and development, and experience in instructional design, and/or project management. He or she will be organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about developing the next workforce for the digital revolution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs in alignment with business goals.

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and recommend solutions.

  • Research and recommend new instructional methods and technologies.

  • Develop learning objectives and content for instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced courses.

  • Create supporting materials such as participant guides, job aids, and assessment tools.

  • Manage the delivery of training programs, including scheduling, logistics, and communication.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Maintain updated records of all training activities and participants.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in adult learning and performance improvement.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned topics.

  • Collaborate with other members of the learning and development team to design and deliver comprehensive learning solutions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a related field.

  • 1+ years experience in educational program coordination, administration, or facilitation.

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS).

  • Proficient in content design platforms, preferably Canva. 

  • Proficiency in cloud-based project management and communication tools such as Slack, Trello, Notion.

  • Familiarity with Google Suite applications, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and Docs

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • This position is one to both women, men and non-binary individuals no older than 30 years old.
