Since its inception in 2018, Digital Girl Africa has been teaching and training women and girls how they can navigate and thrive in the digital revolution. We started out by hosting workshops and bootcamps for teenagers and young women and eventually expanded to offering workshops directed at more targeted communities such as domestic worker trade unions, young leaders, activists.
We are passionate about building an accessible and inclusive digital economy for women in Africa by providing them with relevant digital skills and knowledge to access information, secure economic opportunities, and contributes to achieving SDG 4, 8, 9 and 10.
In our four year streak, we have learnt a lot of lessons and accomplished great successes such as a collaboration in leading e-commerce retailer Superbalist, trained more than 200+ domestic workers basic digital skillls, lastly, hosting our first digital festival, S.low Fest in 2020.
